Timid
Strolling around in Bastakiyya, Dubai, and found a beautiful horse wandering around. It was a nice opportunity to test out “horse photography”, with the typical perspectives that are of abundant supply on dA and the rest of the internet. Still, it was good practice.
I should find some wild horses next!
Coy Little Princess
This adorable little street cat had a field day posing around and playing with everyone. She boasted gorgeous eyes and she knew it! Thanks to her friendliness I was able to be inches away from her and yet not bother her comfort zone at all!
Podding Along
I revisited the Dubai Mall Aquarium with my friend (the place where I took Pretty Grumpy) and I had a Sigma zoom lens with me so I thought, why not?
Took me some time to have this little fellow to pose for the camera, but the photo still turned out to be a bit shaky and unfocused. Still I like it and love the challenge of shooting moving animals. I’d probably go back there again for some more photos.
The Young King
While I was sitting with my friends chatting, this little sweetheart fell from somewhere, all wet and tired. In Arabic, this bird is called “bilbol”, and they’re incredibly cute and fascinatingly friendly. I owned two when years earlier… when they get used to you, the act just like humans! When I used to come in from school, she (mine was a female) would fly to me, peck me on the cheek, and then leave! And she sits with us over lunch and dinner as well… and hangs out with us wherever we go!
And you should see her shower at the drops of water from the faucet.
The one in the pic is a male, and now he is being raised by one of my friends. Hopefully, when he grows up, he will be the king of his domain.
